Enkindling

Was it the deceit that fueled my doubt? Or was it my anger over the betrayal that caused my wall to build? Reasons intertwined and gave the enemy far too much room to work. Years have gone by since that incident. Now the reasons have little value. I know time heals and it has. But God does far more than that. He restores. I am a new man raised from the trial that James refers to. My endurance is complete.

I am blessed to walk on the later end of a trial and see the result amount to something far more than I could imagine. The beauty of it all is that God continues to give a sparkle even after the healing. Do Provberbs 31 women really exist? I’m counting on it. Either way I’m left with a sparkle.
